Celebrating 50 Years of Land Stewardship in the Chattanooga c
community (1956 - 2006), this 300-acre arboretum, botanical garden
and historic site is dedicated to the study and conservation of
native plant life. Its unique landscape, maintained in the
style of an English natural garden, is filled with a myriad of
species of trees, shrubs and wildflowers.

Drive, walk or bike the 3-mile loop, or find a
quiet spot to sit and reflect on the beauty of nature. Over 12 miles
of hiking trails wind their way up the base of Lookout Mountain to
join those of the National Park Service. Entrance to the Riding is
through the drive thru window at the adjacent Chattanooga Nature
Center.
