The two Eastern Box Turtles at Chattanooga Nature Center came from UTC Wildlife rehab in January 2001 and November 2003. 

They enjoy eating brightly colored fruits and vegetables along with insects two days a week in the spring and summer months. They can be seen basking in the warmth of their overhead lamp, taking a nice soak in their water dish, or “hiding” in their turtle cave inside the CNC Visitor Center.
