Wildlife Wanderland
Our Wildlife Wanderland is truly a natural area with enclosures housing native wildlife which have been impacted by humans in one way or another and cannot successfully return to the wild because of injury and/or lack of survival skills. Many of our visitors often remark how close the viewing opportunities are and what a unique experience it is to see animals up close that you normally see from a distance in the wild. This area has bark chip paths and lots of native vegetation.
You can leave the Wanderland via two routes—on the boardwalk which winds through a seasonal wetland and passes the Paddler's Perch and George S. Bryan Discovery Forest Treehouse, or you can take the Liz Aplin Trail which leads to the parking lot. Wildlife Viewing Tips
